Having initiatives to train young people who are better prepared and motivated to accept the challenges society presents us is one of our most important missions to advance in the right direction.  It is not enough to just educate, we need to educate well; it is not enough to just state information, we must train learners well, not just go to school, we need to live it. This mission is not easy, and many initiatives are being developed to drive progress. The Ilum School of Science at CNPEM has been innovative in hastening the training of our young people, establishing models that can be followed by many others.   We need to provide the right conditions for those who have the strength and determination to pursue their dreams.
